A Tribute to David Stypka: A unique concert at O2 universum to celebrate his legacy through music and emotions
In January 2026, it will be five years since the untimely passing of David Stypka. To honor his memory, his songs will resonate through Prague’s O2 universum, performed by the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra Olomouc under the baton of conductor Stanislav Vavřínek, accompanied by his band Bandjeez, as well as his friends and fellow musicians Mirai Navrátil, Kateřina Marie Tichá, and Ewa Farna.
“David’s music captivated me from the very first moment. I love returning to it not only as a listener but also as a performer. His songs possess incredible strength and depth, along with a distinctive melodiousness. I believe David’s work had a profound impact on people. When we perform his songs, I feel a deeper connection with the audience and a sense that people truly loved him – his lyrics, his voice, and his genuine personality. I’m looking forward to celebrating what David brought into our lives with this concert,” says singer Ewa Farna.
