Comic-Con Prague 2026 is coming a month early! Amanda Tapping from Stargate among the first confirmed stars
The seventh annual Comic-Con Prague will arrive in Prague in March! The pop culture festival at the O2 universum will be opened by actress Amanda Tapping, who won fans around the world for her role as Samantha Carter in the Stargate series. The festival will take place from March 13 to 15, 2026, and from October 10, it will be possible to purchase tickets at a discounted price, valid until November 3.
“I am very happy that we will be able to welcome Amanda Tapping to Prague, who is not only the iconic face of Stargate, but also a respected actress and director. She has participated in a number of successful projects. Her participation is a great honor for us and the fans,” says Pavel Renčín, Marketing Director of Active Radio, the main organizer of the event.
“Every year of Comic-Con brings new experiences. We want to give fans an even richer program and bring more big names. In addition to Amanda Tapping, they can also look forward to meeting the actresses from the sci-fi series Alien: Earth, Diêm Camille and Sandra Yi Sencindiver,” adds Václav Pravda, the festival’s program director.
In addition to acting, Diêm Camille also writes scripts and directs – she has won awards at several festivals for her direction, screenplay and leading role in the short film Doll. She is also known from the series The Wheel of Time and Alex Rider. Sandra Yi Sencindiver, known for the series Foundation and The Wheel of Time, is one of the rising stars of contemporary genre work. Both actresses have been working in Denmark for a long time.
The literary section will be enriched by leading Czech comic book authors, including Petr Kopl, known mainly for his comic book adaptation of Victorian literature, Dan Černý, creator of the iconic character Fanouš, and Nikkarin, whose unique style has won many readers. They will bring visitors not only their latest works, but also a unique opportunity to look behind the scenes of the creation of contemporary Czech comics.
The festival will traditionally offer a diverse range of activities – discussions with actors and other guests, autograph sessions and photo shoots, workshops, competitions and other fan programs. There will also be an extensive video game room and a popular board game room, cosplay competitions and a special program dedicated to series, comics and books, as well as a Star Wars exhibition, full of models of technology – from robots to spaceships.
Comic-Con Prague 2026 will take place from March 13 to 15, 2026 at the O2 universum in Prague. Tickets will be on sale from October 10 on the event website and in the Ticketmaster and Ticketportal networks. Discounted prices are valid until November 3, 2025.
