Rock in Symphony – Legends Live Forever: A powerful symphonic show returns to Prague
The Rock in Symphony project is returning to Prague after a successful launch. The spectacular concert show Rock in Symphony – Legends Live Forever will take place on October 27, 2026 at O2 universum and will once again offer what the audience appreciated at the first launch – a monumental combination of rock legends and a live symphony orchestra.
Rock in Symphony is not just a concert, but a full-fledged musical experience that connects the energy of the most famous rock songs with the emotional power of classical music. The project is based on original arrangements, a live band, an orchestra of more than fifty members and a distinctive light choreography. In the second year, we are bringing a completely new stage design and a significantly stronger light and visual show that adds a new dimension to the iconic songs, more intense emotions and a deeper experience connected to all the senses of the viewer.
The guests of this rock evening will be members of the foreign band Soundtopia Rock Band, which is composed of internationally recognized rock musicians. Together with the Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague, the greatest hits will be performed in a unique symphonic concept.
“Rock in Symphony was created from the desire to connect two worlds that are closer to each other than you might think. It is not about orchestral cover versions, but about a real connection of rock songs and classical symphonies so that they function as a single whole. The first performance showed that this format has enormous power– and the return to the O2 universe is a logical continuation,” says Martin Šanda, chief conductor of the Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague and author of the arrangements.
The concert will offer a cross-section of the greatest rock hits in world history – from Queen, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rammstein, Deep Purple, Metallica, Scorpions to other iconic names – always in an original symphonic concept. Every evening is an original, built on the live energy of the orchestra, band and audience.
Rock in Symphony – Legends Live Forever returns unchanged, bigger, stronger and exactly as fans remember it. As a tribute to rock legends who never age.
