The world-renowned GREGORIAN ensemble invites Czech and Slovak fans to a series of exceptional Christmas concerts. As part of The Magical Christmas Tour 2027, they will perform not only in Prague, but also in Ostrava and Bratislava. The tour will combine timeless melodies, a mystical atmosphere, and a spectacular stage show to offer a musical experience that will transport the audience into a world of Christmas spirit, peace, and harmony.
Christmas is a time for gathering and for moments that will never be forgotten. It is precisely this unique atmosphere that GREGORIAN, one of the world’s most famous vocal projects, aims to convey during the winter of 2027. As part of The Magical Christmas Tour 2027, they will present a concert program featuring traditional Christmas carols and beloved melodies in the unmistakable style of Gregorian chants. Their singing will fill the O2 Universum in the Czech capital on December 19, 2027.
Mysterious voices, impressive arrangements, and a captivating stage production will create an atmosphere that will transport the audience away from the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle—at least for a moment. Frank Peterson, producer and creator of the GREGORIAN project, says of the tour: “This Christmas show will be an extraordinary journey through the most beautiful melodies and emotions associated with the Christmas season. We look forward to sharing these magical moments with our audience.”
From church chorales to global hits
GREGORIAN has won over millions of fans around the world thanks to its original blend of centuries-old musical traditions with modern pop and rock songs. Their performances are characterized by monumental vocal arrangements, a mysterious atmosphere, and striking stage choreography, which together create a unique artistic concept. The project first introduced itself to the world in 1999 with the album Gregorian: Masters of Chant, which brought them international success and helped define a completely distinctive musical genre. Behind its creation is producer Frank Peterson, also known for his collaborations with artists such as Sarah Brightman, Andrea Bocelli, José Carreras, Plácido Domingo, and Tom Jones.
Throughout their career, GREGORIAN has performed more than 2,000 concerts in 36 countries and sold over 11 million albums. Their live performances captivate audiences not only with their musical arrangements but also with their elaborate production, which transforms the concert hall into a space with a cathedral-like atmosphere.
Christmas Melodies in an Unexpected Form
The Magical Christmas Tour 2027 offers a unique opportunity to experience familiar Christmas melodies in a new light. The distinctive sound of Gregorian chants will lend these beloved songs depth, emotional power, and a touch of mystery. This festive musical journey is sure to appeal not only to the group’s longtime fans but also to those encountering their music for the first time.
