Prague will host the biggest European cheerleading event of the year this summer. ICU European Cheerleading Championships 2026 heading to O2 universum
The Czech Republic is set to become the center of European cheerleading this summer as the ICU European Cheerleading Championships 2026 take place at Prague’s O₂ universum from 3–5 July 2026.
Hosted by the Czech Association of Cheerleaders in cooperation with ICU Europe, the event marks the third time Prague has been selected to host the European Championships, highlighting the confidence ICU Europe places in Czech organizers and their experience in delivering major international events.
Thousands of athletes, coaches, officials, and fans from across Europe are expected to attend, competing in Cheer and Performance divisions across Youth, Junior, and Senior categories.
In addition to world-class competition, participants and visitors can look forward to official event merchandise, fan zones, partner exhibitions, food services, athlete packages, practice sessions, legality judge consultations, and a Cultural Exchange Party connecting athletes from across Europe.
“We want to showcase not only the quality of Czech cheerleading, but also Prague as a modern city capable of hosting major international sporting events,” said Martina Marešová, President of the Czech Association of Cheerleaders.
