The legend of King Crimson comes to life in the O2 universum: BEAT brings Vai, Carey, Belew and Levin
The spirit of King Crimson from the 80s will come to life in Prague – the band BEAT will come to the unique space of Prague’s O2 universum! The band consists of former King Crimson members Adrian Belew and Tony Levin, who are complemented by two legendary musicians – one of the best guitarists of our time, Steve Vai, and TOOL drummer Danny Carey. Fans of progressive rock, virtuoso performances and musical legends can look forward to a concert that has no equal in the world.
The BEAT project was created as a tribute to one of the most influential bands in rock history and at the same time as its living, contemporary rebirth. Adrian Belew and Tony Levin – two essential members of the then King Crimson lineup – joined forces with guitar phenomenon Steve Vai and rhythm wizard Danny Carey (Tool) to create a concert force that relies on precise technique, energy and futuristic expression. The result is a show that preserves the character of the original songs, but at the same time transforms them into a form appropriate for 2026 – more intense, sonically more powerful and immediately captivating.
Visitors to the O2 universum can look forward to a unique musical experience in which history meets the present. The setlist will offer a cross-section of King Crimson’s most essential material from the 1980s – from hypnotic polyrhythms to fragile, emotional melodies. BEAT’s performance is met with enormous response around the world, often accompanied by sold-out halls, standing ovations and enthusiastic reviews. Prague will thus be among the cities that can experience the concert event of the year – a precise, visually captivating and musically breathtaking tribute to one of the most influential eras of progressive rock.
