The popular 90s Explosion festival invites you to its winter edition!
Stars of the nineties are heading to Prague, including Fun Factory, Mr. President fka Layzee, and hits by La Bouche, Milli Vanilli, and Down Low.
After a series of highly successful summer editions, held every June in Prague and ranking among the most attended music events of their genre, the organizers are introducing a long-awaited novelty. For the first time in history, a winter version of the festival—90s Explosion Winter Edition—will take place on 24 October 2026 at the O2 universum Prague. This indoor edition will deliver the unique atmosphere of an arena concert along with a strong lineup of iconic 90s artists.
The winter edition will get the crowd dancing with performances by Fun Factory, Mr. President fka Layzee, and a special project, Best of 90s The Show, featuring Natascha Wright of the legendary La Bouche, Ray Horton—the original voice of Milli Vanilli—and Joe Thompson from Down Low. The program will also include well-known Czech acts such as Verona, Holki, and MC Erik feat. Ivana. Together, they will offer an evening full of essential hits that defined the European dance scene of the nineties, hosted by popular Radio Kiss presenters and DJs.
The decision to launch a winter edition came as a natural response to the huge demand from fans. The summer 90s Explosion festival regularly sells out and has become one of the strongest pillars of nostalgic music events in the Czech Republic. At the O2 universum, the organizers aim to recreate the unmistakable 90s atmosphere in an indoor setting that ensures top-quality sound, an impressive light show, and maximum comfort for visitors. The winter edition is not meant to be a smaller version of the summer festival, but a fully fledged concert event with its own identity and a strong production level.
