Architects is heading to the O2 universum: The biggest Czech headline show by the British metalcore legend!
Architects is returning to Prague! After a sold-out Forum Karlín, we are raising the bar and in January 2026 you can enjoy these metalcore giants at Prague’s O2 universum. For Architects, this is the biggest headline show this British band has ever played in the Czech Republic, so be there with us! The French band LANDMVRKS and one of the most discussed names in the music world, the mysterious PRESIDENT, will provide solid support.
Architects need no introduction to Czech fans – they are one of the most prominent names in modern metalcore, which since its formation in 2004 has earned a reputation as a band that constantly pushes the boundaries of the genre and is not afraid of innovation. Their work ranges between intense technical precision and deep emotional urgency, emphasizing strong themes such as the environmental crisis, the loss of a loved one and personal introspection. Thanks to this, they have gained not only devoted fans around the world, but also the respect of critics.
The band relies on a powerful sound built on a combination of monumental guitar walls, atmospheric arrangements and urgent vocals – whether it’s aggressive screams or melodic passages. Architects are not just another metalcore band – they are the voice of a generation searching for meaning in a chaotic world and at the same time proof that even heavy music can be a tool for change.
French five-piece LANDMVRKS are among the fastest growing names in the European metalcore scene – their music combines hardness and aggression with catchy melodies, emotions and modern production that is not afraid of elements of trap, nu-metal or alternative rock. Since the release of their debut Hollow in 2016, the band has been building a strong fan base and pushing their sound and expression further with each subsequent album – proof of this is, for example, the acclaimed album Lost in the Waves from 2021. In addition, they demonstrate unbridled energy and an uncompromising show live that leaves no one cold.
The concert line-up is closed by the mysterious project PRESIDENT, which emerged from nowhere in February 2025, when it stunned fans by announcing its participation in the Download Festival – and literally no one had any idea who was hiding behind the masks in which the band performed. In their work, they combine metalcore and alternative metal, supported by an atmosphere of anonymity and mystery. The strong visual concept – neither faces nor names – is reminiscent of projects like Ghost or Sleep Token and adds elements of tension and exceptionality.
