Monks who have been stunning the world with their choral singing for 25 years are coming to the Czech Republic. Captivating voices and melodies and lyrics proven by centuries – the mysterious group GREGORIAN is the most successful choir ever with more than 10 million albums sold. In 2025, they will be celebrating a quarter of a century on the scene, and to mark the occasion, they are going on tour to thank their fans around the world.

“This anniversary show will be a spectacular journey through the entire history of our choir – we will remember the beginnings and look back at the best of the more than 20 projects we have completed over the past 25 years. We can’t wait to introduce this new product to our audience and create more amazing moments and experiences of choral music together with them”, describes GREGORIAN’s mastermind and producer, Frank Peterson, of the annual tour.

GREGORIAN thrilled millions of people around the world during their performances. Their concerts set new standards thanks to their mysterious choreography and ability to seamlessly transition from classical chants to pop and rock songs. The legendary choir immediately captivated listeners and defined their genre 25 years ago. Their “creator” – Frank Peterson – also collaborated with artists such as Sarah Brightman, Andrea Bocelli, José Carreras, Placido Domingo, Tom Jones, Backstreet Boys or Marky Mark. International fame was brought to the group by the very first album called Gregorian Masters of Chant, released in 1999. Even today, their concerts have not lost the mystical temple atmosphere combining well-known world hits with Gregorian chants.

“Live Gregorian performances are always an unrepeatable experience. We are therefore very happy to welcome them to the Czech Republic as part of their annual tour and delight the fans with a spectacular multimedia show full of fireworks, projections and other effects. The audience leaves enchanted, with the feeling that they have touched something mysterious, even sacred,” explains Květa Havelková, spokeswoman for the JVS Group. The main role will be played by the power of harmonious choral singing, enhanced by the connection with ancient religious motifs and Latin texts.

GREGORIAN will start the trio of concerts on February 26 in Ostrava, continue on February 27 in Brno, and end their Czech tour on February 28 in Prague at the O2 universum.
