Home Alone to Come Alive Once More at O2 universum: Unique Film and Symphony Fusion Returns After Last Year’s Success
After an extraordinary success, an exceptional project that connects the world of film and live symphonic music returns. The iconic film Home Alone, beloved by audiences around the world, will be performed with the accompaniment of a large symphony orchestra and choir at the O2 universum.
The sold-out hall, strong atmosphere and immediate audience reaction at the first screening confirmed that this format has a firm place in the Czech environment. That is why the Prague Pop Symphonics orchestra decided to repeat this unique experience. Viewers can look forward to the screening of the film on the big screen, accompanied live by 150 professional musicians on stage. Every dramatic and comical moment will come to life thanks to the iconic music of John Williams, which gives the story of little Kevin an unmistakable atmosphere.
“Last year’s concert was a huge milestone for us. The audience’s reactions were incredible and confirmed to us that it makes sense to continue this project,” says Lenka Dandová, director of Prague Pop Symphonics. “We are happy to be able to offer this experience to the audience this year as well, and we believe that it will once again be one of the highlights of the Christmas season.”
“The audience’s interest pleasantly surprised us. It was clear that we wanted to return to this project,” adds producer Lukáš Cach. “Home Alone is a timeless classic that unites families and generations, and in combination with live music it takes on a completely new dimension.”
The Home Alone in Concert project will once again offer the film in its original Czech dubbing, so that young and old audiences can fully enjoy it. Experience the story of Kevin McCallister, who defends his home from a pair of inept thieves, in a unique concert format.
Due to last year’s success and a completely sold-out hall, the organizers recommend purchasing tickets early.
