This is a unique concert tour within Europe, which will take place exclusively in Germany in conjunction with a single concert in Prague, which will kick it off.

American singer and songwriter Gregory Porter tastefully mixes jazz, funk, soul, R&B, gospel and acoustic pop with his very recognizable velvety baritone voice, which conquered the whole world.

His successful music career has earned him two Grammy Awards for the albums “Take Me to the Alley” in 2016 and “Liquid Spirit” in 2013, and seven Grammy nominations. His last released album is “All Rise” in 2020, which marked his last seventh Grammy nomination to date.

Gregory Porter is an American singer, a native of California, who settled in Brooklyn in 2004. Already at a young age he fell under the spell of jazz and over the years he became one of the most respected American jazz artists. He released his first album “Water” in 2010, another “Be Good” in 2012, “Liquid Spirit” in 2013, “Take Me to the Alley” in 2016, “Nat King Cole & Me” in 2017 and the last “All Rise” in 2020.

Jazz keyboardist and Hammond organ player Ondřej Pivec, originally from Brno, will play together with him in his accompanying band. Although he has been living and working in the USA since he was twenty-five years old, his collaboration with Gregory Porter began in 2013 in the Czech Republic, when they met at the Strings of Autumn festival. He also won a Grammy Award for his contribution to ePorter’s album ‘Take Me To The Alley’ in 2017. Together they went on to perform at the sold-out Royal Albert Hall in London and at the world-famous Glastonbury, as well as playing on pianist Jools Holland’s prime-time BBC show. In this line-up, Gregory Porter will also play this year’s Prague concert on November 4 from 8 p.m. in the O₂ universum, which will be his biggest performance in the Czech Republic after the hopelessly sold-out independent jazz project at the Karlín Forum in 2018.
