World Futnet Returns to Prague: O2 universum to Host 2026 World Championships
The Czech Netball Association is a founding member of the International Netball Union UNIF, which has been managing international competitions in our sport since 2010. The organization has a total of 30 member countries, with several other countries having candidate or cooperating status.
The Netball World Championship is returning to the Czech Republic and Prague again after four years. The O2 universum in Prague’s Vysočany with a capacity of up to 4,000 spectators will become the center of world netball from December 5 to 6, 2026.
A total of 3 sets of medals will be contested – in singles, doubles and triples. The Czech netball team is the most successful team in history and will defend 2 championship titles (singles and triples) and one silver medal (doubles) from the last World Championship in 2024 in Hungary.
Tickets for previous world championships held in the Czech Republic have always been hopelessly sold out several months in advance. Prague should once again host the most attended football championship in the history of this sport.
The expected record attendance promises an unforgettable atmosphere on the one hand, and the O2 universum hall, together with the accompanying program and the performances of the Czech representatives, on the other hand, a unique experience for football fans.
